so I am just going to blast Joyce Manor, Title Fight, Man Overboard (whom I’m seeing tomorrow! Anyone else going?), La Dispute, and Transit whilst dreaming about eating pepperoni pizza because I’m too lazy to go downstairs and into the gspot to actually get some.
A story was published today that took a personal take on Fall Out Boy’s From Under The Cork Tree record. Patrick Stump has now released his own statement of sorts following the aforementioned article to discuss in-depth his feelings about forever being tied to Fall Out Boy, never being the 18 year old that wrote Take This To Your Grave again, disappearing from the performing world after a shaky solo debut with Soul Punk, and much much more. You can read Stump’s entire statement below by clicking “Read More.”
god damn. I didn’t even stop to think that people would be so cruel as to buy tickets just to tell someone how much they suck. I certainly understand why he feels so sad, I really miss Fall Out Boy but it wouldn’t be worth it if the band itself resented it, so in that sense I’m kind of glad it’s over (for now anyway).
